Goodwill hosting open house in Bellevue

BELLEVUE — Goodwill Industries of Erie, Huron, Ottawa and Sandusky Counties will host its 50th-anniversary open house from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday. The event will take place at the Bellevue Assembly Plant, located at 1082 Castalia St., Bellevue. "The open house is an opportunity for the public to witness the impact Goodwill Industries has made in the local community for the past 50 years," according to an organizational statement. Attendees can tour the plant, meet with staff members and learn about the programs and services that Goodwill provides. Light refreshments will be provided. "Goodwill Industries of Erie, Huron, Ottawa and Sandusky Counties has been transforming lives for 50 years," the statement read. "This event is a chance to celebrate their achievements and share their vision for the future. The organization is committed to continuing to serve the local community and making a positive difference in people's lives." Anyone can attend the event.
