New doctor comes to pain management center

BELLEVUE — The Bellevue Hospital and its pain management partner, Pain Management Group, recently welcomed Dr. Naren "Ned" Lakshmipathy to the pain management team. Lakshmipathy is a fellowship-trained pain management physician and brings more than 20 years of experience — such as evaluating diagnosing and treating many types of pain — to the local area. He is also board certified in anesthesiology. Lakshmipathy diagnoses and creates individualized treatment plans for patients based on several considerations, including the cause and level of pain. Conditions treated at The Bellevue Hospital's Pain Management Center include neck and back pain, headaches, fibromyalgia, chronic pelvic pain, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, nerve damage as well as pain associated with arthritis, muscle spasms and shingles. "The Pain Management Center's primary goal is to thoughtfully manage the pain of our patients and, at the same time, improve their overall quality of life," said Timothy Buit, the hospital's president and CEO. "We are excited to welcome Dr. Ned to our hospital family and believe he will provide high quality, safe pain treatment to meet the needs of his patients." Lakshmipathy completed his residency in anesthesiology and his fellowship in pain medicine at the New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a founding member and senior medical director of the Pain Management Group based out of Findlay. Lakshmipathy is currently accepting new patients.
