Residents could be featured on History Channel show

SANDUSKY — Ohio residents, including those in the Sandusky area, can get featured on a popular History Channel show. The documentary series "American Pickers" has announced it is returning to Ohio this April and is looking for interesting people and interesting items to feature on the show. "American Pickers" goes around the U.S. seeking unique "antique" finds, following skilled pickers as they seek out the best and most unique antiques. As they travel from coast to coast, the picker's primary goal is to recycle and rescue these forgotten antiques. "They hope to give historically significant objects a new lease on life while learning a thing or two about America's past along the way," according to a news release from the show. The show is seeking any possible leads regarding valuable and unique antiques in Sandusky and the surrounding area.
