Firm gains new managing partner

SANDUSKY — Reminger Co. recently announced Brian Gannon will become the firm's president and managing partner on Jan. 1, 2024. Gannon has been with Reminger since 2001 when he joined the firm as a law clerk while earning his juris doctor degree from the Cleveland State University College of Law. "Since then, he has served as a trusted adviser to health care providers, practice groups, outpatient centers, hospitals and multi-facility health systems," according to a statement from Reminger. "He has led Reminger's health care law practice group since 2015. Brian's work is not only appreciated by his clients but by his legal colleagues as well." He is listed in Best Lawyers in America for medical malpractice law defendants and is recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer. "For the over 20 years, I have worked at Reminger, (and) I have learned to appreciate its core values of hard work, collaboration and client-focused results," Gannon said. "I look forward to maintaining these core values as Reminger's next managing partner, but I also look forward to introducing changes to address the evolving needs of our clients, lawyers and staff." Gannon will succeed Stephen Walters, who has served as managing partner since 2005. Following this leadership transition, Walters will remain with the firm "devoted to the continued representation of health care institutions and medical professionals," the statement read. "Over many years, I have had the good fortune of witnessing Brian's development as both a person and a leader," Walters said. "He is bright, level-headed and a compassionate man," Walters added. "This is an exciting time for Reminger and our clients, as Brian will bring new ideas and a focus of even greater collaborative commitment." This leadership transition comes as Reminger embarks on its 65th year of providing "high-quality legal services across the Midwest," the statement read. Since first opening its doors in Cleveland in 1958, Reminger has grown from two individuals to a full-service firm employing several hundred attorneys, paralegals and staff. In April, Reminger will relocate its Cleveland headquarters to 200 Public Square. "Reminger looks forward to serving its clients in this new, modernized office space," the statement read.
