GenoaBank introduces new VP

GENOA — GenoaBank — a locally owned, independent, community bank — recently announced Anthony Mifsud's appointment as its new vice president of commercial lending. Mifsud is responsible for originating and managing commercial loan relationships for the bank, providing business term loans, lines of credit, real estate mortgages and other commercial loan and deposit products offered by the bank. He will continue to focus on community banking relationships all along northwest Ohio. "I'm excited to play my part at a bank that has remained true to its community roots," Mifsud said. "I think the lending department at GenoaBank presents a great opportunity," he continued. "Between the bank's expanding market presence throughout northwest Ohio and its commitment to small businesses, there's a lot of potential for growth and to make a difference where it matters most at the consumer level." Mifsud, a native of Dearborn, Michigan, earned his bachelor's degree of science in accounting from Hillsdale College before moving to northwest Ohio in 2013. He resides with his wife and three kids in Perrysburg. "Anthony has provided a steady presence and thoughtful leadership," said Martin Sutter, GenoaBank's chairman, president and CEO.
