Firelands Health welcomes new chief financial officer

SANDUSKY — Firelands Health's president and chief executive officer Jeremy Normington-Slay along with its board of directors recently welcomed Kevin Riley as chief financial officer of the Sandusky-based health care organization. Riley boasts more than 30 years of health care finance experience, which includes previously serving: • In management positions for national accounting and consulting firms KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers • As vice president of finance for Mercy Health in Cincinnati • As chief financial officer for St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee, Ohio • As principal for Health Management Associates, a national health care consulting firm based in Lansing, Michigan Riley earned his master's degree in business administration from Xavier University and a bachelor's degree from St. Joseph University. In addition, Riley is a certified public accountant, a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and possesses several other certifications from the association. "I am very excited to join Firelands Health," said Riley, who is married to his wife, Linda, of 25 years, and they have two children: ages 20 and 15. "Firelands Health has a rich history as a valued community partner and is a vital part of the greater Sandusky area," he added.
