Look out for Lakelynn Littles & Home

PORT CLINTON — Lakelynn Littles & Home is a new shop in downtown Port Clinton. Littles offers an array of children's quality apparel for youth between newborns and 14, toys, games, accessories, shoes and home goods. Kids can also play with merchandise before purchasing and be entertained while Mom shops. Lakelynn Littles, 129 E. 2nd St. in downtown Port Clinton, is owned by Abbie Fox, a local resident who also owns Lakelynn Design Boutique in Port Clinton and Sandusky. Littles has been in the works for almost two years. "I just needed the perfect location and, on 2nd Street, I'm right next to RJ's Ice Cream & Desserts and The Port Clinton Candy Co," Fox said. "What a great family-oriented corner of downtown Port Clinton." Fox then explained the color scheme throughout her shop. "Our pops of yellow in the store and our bright yellow bags represent my childhood home, which was yellow and also where I expressed my creativity, played with friends and have the fondest childhood memories." When stocking her shelves, Fox said she "looks for the old fashioned, the small business-made, USA-made and most eclectic merchandise. I hope to continue to give back to the community by creating jobs and give the community what it's missing."
