Dogs available for adoption

MAVIE — Mavie is a 10-month-old housebroken male Labrador/Husky mix. He is very sweet, knows how to sit on command, does great on a leash, is good with other animals and loves to cuddle. He would prefer to be in a home with active family members and a fenced-in yard. MICKEY — Mickey is a 1-year-old housebroken, crate-trained female pit bull/Lab mix. She does great on a leash and knows how to sit on command. She would prefer to be in a home with a fenced-in yard and a very active family. OSCAR — Oscar is a 10-month-pld, housebroken male pit bull. He does great on a leash, loves to play fetch and loves to be with people. He is hearing impaired and would prefer to be in a home with experienced adopters GOMER — Gomer is a 9-month-old housebroken male Miniature Pinscher/Beagle mix. He is good on a leash, knows how to sit on command and very rambunctious. He would prefer to be in a home with no small children or cats. The Erie County Dog Pound, 2900 Columbus Ave., Perkins Township, is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10-10:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Adoptions are from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays. Adopting a dog costs $50 to $100, including license and first shots.
