Build-A-Bear coming to Cedar Point

SANDUSKY — Guests to Cedar Point will soon be able to make their own stuffed animals when Build-A-Bear opens inside the park. It'll be located in Frontier Town near Maverick and Steel Vengeance is the Jitney Arcade. For the 2022 season, work has been taking place inside the building, and up until the last week, there was nothing to see. In addition, we quickly noticed that the Jitney Arcade sign had been removed and the outside facade painted a bright blue. This week, guests could see into the windows of the Jitney Arcade and get confirmation that a new Build-A-Bear sign is located on the wall while construction is still taking place. The Build-A-Bear website was also updated on Thursday, confirming that the company would be coming to Cedar Point. The Jitney Arcade has gone through a slew of changes over the years, taking various forms of "arcade" including a shooting gallery, however, the last time it was used was for the 2021 season during the Frontier Festival as a drink station. While Cedar Point has not released any official details on Build-A-Bear yet, it is assumed the store will feature exclusive stuffed animals, similar to the store that opened at sister park Kings Island in 2018.
