SANDUSKY • First Congregational United Church of Christ, at 1158 Cleveland Road in the Sandusky Plaza, invites you to in-person worship for each Sunday at 10 a.m. Join us this weekend for a sermon entitled "Three in One" from Rev. Lenore Kure. At 11:20 a.m., Rev. Lenore will be have devotions. Our Shoreline ministry also continues at the Shoreline Park Pavilion — rain or shine — at 8 a.m. Sundays. Each week, we will have a speaker deliver a message about "how the awesome love of God has impacted my life." We will also take up an offering at each service and the proceeds of such will go to the offering focus of the day. Anita Kromer, executive director of Care & Share of Erie County will be the guest speaker this Sunday, and the offering focus will be Care & Share. We are an open and affirming congregation and all are welcome here. Our building is fully accessible. The Center for Peace Through Understanding is quickly organizing a March for Our Lives event in conjunction with the nationwide march on June 11. A March for Our Lives event took place four years ago in Sandusky with the intention being to rally for lawmakers to pass gun safety measures. In the wake of the awful mass shooting tragedies, it was decided to have another march now in 2022. The church will provide free carry-out meals to the community from 4:30-5 p.m. on June 18 and 25. • Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, at 502 Bardshar Road, has worship services at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sundays, with children's Sunday school at 9 a.m. The first and third Sundays of the month will have Communion services and the fifth Sunday services will occur at 9 a.m. and are lay led with no Sunday school. • Christian Singles Fellowship is a group that promotes Christian support, social activities and fellowship for all born-again single adults, whether divorced, widowed or single by choice. It provides singles with positive fellowship and interaction with other singles within the context of Christianity and to minister to people's special needs. NORWALK • St. Paul Episcopal Church, at 87 W. Main St., welcomes you to a service of morning prayer at 10 a.m. Sunday. This is the first Sunday after Pentecost and is called Trinity Sunday. It celebrates the one and equal glory of the Holy Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This is a Christian Feast Day that commemorates God. A feast is an observance and today we focus on the Christian doctrine of the Trinity, the teaching that there is one God in three persons. They are equal in substance, power and eternity, maker and preserver of all things both visible and invisible. In the service of morning prayer, we join together for prayer, psalms, scriptures and hymns. There is silence between readings to allow for thoughtful contemplation of whatever catches the attention of the listener. The readings for this Sunday are Proverbs 8:1-4, 22-31; Psalm 8; Romans 5:1-5; and John 16:12-15. St. Paul's is a place of beauty and reverence: one that has been made holy by the prayers, sacraments and service of generations. A choral concert will take place at 3 p.m. July 31. A free will offering will be taken. We'd like to put together a community choir of many voices to prepare a concert on July 31. As of June 6, Pastor Art Conrad is the new pastor of First Baptist Church. GREENWICH • Shiloh Penecostal Church of God, at 117 Baseline Road West, will host a homecoming revival for its 12th anniversary celebration at 7 p.m. from June 16-18. Everyone is welcome. • Offense is an act that we take as an insult against our own standards or principles. So where does offense come from? James 4:1, "From whence come wars and fightings among you? Come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?" How do we deal with offenses? Mark 11:25-26 says, "And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any…" Jesus places the burden on us. Are you easily offended? Psalms 119:165, Romans 14:21, 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. The Churches Under Gerusalem Order consist of every temple (individual) of God who is a part of His Spiritual Kingdom. NEW LONDON • Fitchville United Methodist Church, at 1593 U.S. 250, New London, hosts worship at 9 a.m. Sundays. Adult Sunday school classes occur at 8 a.m. and children's Sunday school classes take place during the worship service. PORT CLINTON • Trinity United Methodist Church, at 135 Adams St., has resumed outdoor worship at the Sutton Center in Port Clinton. Services are at 9 a.m. and all are welcome to attend the 63rd year of our "come as you are and worship in your car" service. • The congregation at Peace Lutheran Church invites surrounding communities to join them for hybrid services. The church will host hybrid services while the weather permits it to do so. People can choose to be either in the large parking lot outdoors in a car or lawn chair, weather permitting. MARBLEHEAD • First United Church of Christ-Congregational, at 802 Prairie St., hosts its worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sundays. Masks and distancing are of individual choice. The church will host a rummage sale in the church basement from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 24 and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 25. The basement is accessible by elevator. A summer Bible study will be from 4-5:30 Mondays on June 20 and 27; July 11 and 18; and Aug. 1 and 8. It is based on professor Amy-Jill Levine's book, "The Difficult Words of Jesus."
