Jeffrey Lee "Jeff" Walker

SANDUSKY — Jeffrey Lee "Jeff" Walker, 72, of Sandusky, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022, in Providence Care Center after a lengthy illness with his loving wife by his side. He was born in Willard, Ohio on Jan. 11, 1950, to the late Dolores (Painter) (Walker) Watson. Jeff graduated from Perkins High School in 1968. He liked cars, especially Vettes. He was a member of the Lakeshore Corvette Club of Sandusky. Jeff met the love of his life, Becky (Bryant) Walker in June of 1974. She liked his car. "Buzzin' the Ave.," they got married on Nov. 16, 1974. Jeff is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rebecca M. "Becky" (Bryant) Walker; son, Robert "Bob" (Denise) Walker of Springfield, Missouri; brother, Sam (Judith) Watson of Toledo; stepgrandson, Joshua Mark of Sandusky; and other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dolores Watson and stepfather, Tom Watson; son, Matthew "Matt" Ray Walker; and maternal grandparents, George and Viola Painter. Cremation has taken place, and interment was in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Erie County or to the Erie County Dog Pound.
