SBC all-star game features 24 3-pointers

TIFFIN -- The two boys teams in Sunday's SBC All-Star Game combined to make 24 3-point goals and the Black team defeated the White squad 89-80. Norwalk's Ian Minor and Old Fort's Colin Nutter each scored 16 points to lead the victorious Black team. Minor was named his team's Most Outstanding Player. Perkins' Sam Oddo scored 12 points to lead the White team. Oddo was named his team's MVP. Columbian's Jaden Myers led the White squad with 13 points and TJ Hallett added 12. Oddo and Hallett each made four 3-pointers to lead the barrage from beyond the arc. In the girls game, Sandusky's Myasia Matthews scored 12 points to lead the White team to a 53-43 victory. Edison's Lindsay Roberts finished with 10 points and Huron's Ava Winnestaffer was named the winning team's MVP. Clyde's Kristen Harrah scored six points and was named MVP for the Black team. Harrah will play college basketball at Heidelberg University, which hosted the all-star games. New Riegel's Brieanna Norville and Sydney Hohman each finished with eight points for the Black team. The SBC all-star games made their return after not being played the last two years.
