Thee Fisherman's Wharf docks in Huron

HURON — The two co-owners for Thee Fishermen's Wharf Bar & Grill, a new restaurant recently opening in Huron, want to reel customers in by each sharing an important message: • Co-owner Daniel Robert: "We take care of our community first, our employees second, and then we worry about our profits last. We choose quality over quantity." • Co-owner Tommy Morrow: "This is a place for everyone. We are a bar and restaurant, but we are going to have a little bit of everything for everyone. We'll also have really good quality food." Located at 356 Main St., in a building once occupied by I-5's Bar & Grill, the menu offers many traditional restaurant staples — "and everything is fresh," Morrow said — such as appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, steaks and salads. There are also many specialties, namely the trademark Lagoon Tots, deep-fried, bite-sized potatoes tossed in garlic seasoning mixed with truffle oil with parmesan cheese sprinkled over atop them. "All of our food is amazing," said Robert, who has worked as a general manager at other area restaurants for many years. "We don't expect anything less than 5 stars." Added Morrow, who's worked in the restaurant industry for more than a decade: "Most important for us, we want people coming in and leaving happy." Thee Fishermen's Wharf Bar & Grill is open seven days a week. Hours can vary depending on the day.
