Richard Joseph Binsack

BELLEVUE — Richard Joseph Binsack, 67, of Bellevue, died at Promedica Toledo Hospital on Friday, Dec. 10, 2021. Rick was born on Dec. 31, 1953, in Fremont to Mildred (Fisher) and Edward Binsack. He graduated from Bellevue and EHOVE Career Center in the journeyman's program. He was a welder at Quality Steel prior to his retirement. Mr. Binsack was a member of Faith Bible Church, Bellevue. He enjoyed the outdoors by hunting and fishing, but his love was spending time with the grandchildren. On April 15, 1978, he married Patricia Mykytuk. She, along with their three children, Christopher Binsack of Bellevue; Karen (Joshua) Russell of Castalia and Katie (Brian) Barbour of Monroeville survive. Survivors also include five grandchildren, Rebecca, Alexis, Addison, James and Jacob; and seven siblings, Alfred Binsack and Linda (David) Kupka, John (Rosanne) Binsack of Columbus; Michael Binsack; Mark (Gina) Binsack, all of Fremont; Mary Binsack of Port Clinton and Marcia Cleveland of Fremont. Rick was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Marilyn Norman; and Alberta and Victor Widmer, who raised him. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 17 at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18 at Faith Bible Church with Pastor Scott Jones officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue City Cemetery.
