Jack W. Cheetham

SANDUSKY — Jack W. Cheetham, 71, of Sandusky, passed away on Sunday morning, Dec. 5, 2021, at Stein Hospice Care Center, after experiencing complications from a recent appendectomy, exacerbated by dementia. He was born on July 15, 1950, in Sandusky to Margaret (Angello) and the late Clyde Cheetham. He was a 1968 graduate of Sandusky High School and received an Associate's Degree from Terra Tech. He retired in 2006 after 30 years as a Tool & Die Maker for the former New Departure/Delphi in Sandusky. He was a member of U.A.W. Local #913, and a lifelong member of the former St. Paul Lutheran Church of Sandusky. Jack was an avid model car collector. He enjoyed making others smile with his jokes, impersonations and being the clown. He'll be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. Jack is survived by his wife, Marianne (Rengel) Cheetham, whom he married on June 24, 1972; daughter, Elaine Cheetham, of Sandusky; son, Christopher Cheetham, of Powell, Ohio; mother, Margaret (Angello) Cheetham, of Sandusky; sister, Marta Cheetham, of Belleville, MI; many loving in-laws; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends; and his cat, Spankie. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde, in 2010. At Jack's request, cremation will take place. Friends and family may call from 3-5 p.m.on Thursday, Dec. 9 from at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev.
