Stage set for the Towne and Country Players

NORWALK — The Towne and Country Players have announced their 2021-22 concert series. The upcoming season is the musical group's 56th season and comes after a year-long hiatus due to COVID-19. The first Towne and Country performance this season is set at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the McCormick School Auditorium, 325 Ohio St. in Huron. The theme for the performance is The Red, White, Blue and You and is dedicated to veterans and active military members. Veterans and active military members get into the performance free. The season continues into December with a Christmas-themed show at 3 p.m. on Dec. 12 at Norwalk First United Methodist Church, 60 W. Main St. in Norwalk. The show is with the Tower Brass Quintet and they will perform Christmas in Brass. The closing performance for the Towne and Country Players 2021-22 concert series is on March 20, 2022, in Huron with the Bowling Green State University Men's Chorus. There will also be another choral performance for Easter at 3 p.m. on April 10, 2022, at the Norwalk First United Methodist Church featuring the Cedarville University Concert Choir.
