United Way kicks off new campaign

SANDUSKY — The community huddled up with the United Way of Erie County to recently kick off its new campaign. Our theme for the evening was football. With our thoughts looking toward the goal to score a win for United Way to continue to support local agencies. With the pandemic still in our midst, our local agencies are busier than ever with additional needs to be met throughout Erie County. The financial support provided by businesses and individuals enables the United Way to continue its goal to support various agency programs throughout the year. The evening was successful in numerous ways. It provided a chance for the executive director, Kimberly Ray, to meet people from Erie County and talk about the importance of community support. Another part of her vision is to encourage teamwork whenever possible among agencies to further meet community needs. The evening was about kicking off the United Way's next campaign, interacting with the community and talking about the best way to impact the needs throughout Erie County. It was also an opportunity to talk about our future goals, our commitment to Erie County and how to win the continued support of local businesses throughout the communities we serve. Meeting the needs in Erie County is our No. 1 goal Together, we can accomplish this for the people of Erie County.
