Sarah Renee (Matheny) Daniels

SANDUSKY — Sarah Renee (Matheny) Daniels, 37, residing in Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021. Sarah was born on Sept. 19, 1983, in Norwalk, Ohio to Gerald Neldon Matheny Jr. and Patricia Ann (Daugherty) Bleile. Sarah graduated from Norwalk High School. She was employed as a cashier at Save A Lot. Sarah was a member of Father's Heart Family Church. She enjoyed listening to music, especially country music, spending time with her children and being a wife and a mother. Sarah is survived by her husband, John Daniels Sr. of Sandusky; daughters, Ania Matheny of Sandusky, Breonna Matheny of Marblehead and Chyann Matheny of Sandusky; her father, Gerald Jr. of Warsaw, Ohio; mother, Patricia of Marblehead; brother, Michael Matheny of Norwalk and numerous other relatives. Sarah is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Leona Daugherty and paternal grandparents, Gerald Sr. and Janet Lee (Marshall) Matheny. Private family services will be held at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory Sandusky Chapel.
