Mini King of Pop

SANDUSKY — More than one Michael Jackson danced at Jackson Street Pier on Thursday. As part of the Party on the Pier concert series, Who's Bad, a Michael Jackson tribute band performed many of Jackson's most popular songs. More than 200 people were there early, and by the time the band came on stage, the audience swelled to about 800. In addition to the MJ on stage, a miniature King of Pop joined him: Micaiah Fox, 10, not only flawlessly performed Michael Jackson's signature dance moves but looked the part as well. He performed with his older counterpart for more than an hour on stage, as the audience went wild. Micaiah's father, James Fox, of Sandusky, said his son was very excited when he learned a Michael Jackson tribute singer would perform in Sandusky. James Fox said he found a Michael Jackson costume on Amazon and ordered it. The costume consisted of bedazzled white gloves and black sport coat as well as a black fedora. To finish the ensemble, Micaiah Fox wore white socks with black loafers. James Fox said his son started his fascination with Michael Jackson because of a Wii game. Micaiah Fox said the game was the Michael Jackson The Experience. Since then Micaiah studied and perfected many of Jackson's dance moves.
