Karen Lee (Adams) Ebner

NORWALK — Karen Lee (Adams) Ebner, 76, residing in Norwalk, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 18, 2021, at Norwalk Memorial Home following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. During this battle, she found her strength in the Lord and her faith was unwavering. Karen was born on Sept. 15, 1944, in Lucasville, Ohio, to the late Harold and Betty (Hoskins) Adams. Karen graduated from Margaretta High School in 1962. She was a member of the Women's Missionary Union and Calvary Baptist Church, where she was also a secretary. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading the Bible, spending time with her grandkids, traveling, and watching the Hallmark channel. Karen is survived by her husband, Donald Ebner, who she married on Feb. 5, 1966. She is also survived by her daughter, Kim (Kevin) Massie of Fort Wayne, Indiana; sons, Jerry (Ivy) Ebner of Sandusky and Doug (Tricia) Ebner of Norwalk; three grandchildren, Stone, Riley and Justin Ebner; brother, Kenneth (Sandy) Adams of Sandusky; brother-in-law, James Keller of Castalia; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to her parents, Karen is preceded in death by sisters, Phyllis (John) Heinzerling and Wanda Keller, and brother, Harry (Donna) Adams. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 20, 2021, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Friends may also call from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1810 E. Perkins Ave, Sandusky.
