THROUGHOUT THE WEEK FREMONT Fremont Community Youth Theatre performances: The youth theater will be showing performances of "Grunch" on Friday through Sunday this week. Friday and Saturday's performances will be at 7 p.m., and Sunday's matinee performance will be at 2 p.m. THURSDAY 29 HURON Huron's Market and More: The weekly farmers market will be from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at the Huron Boat Basin. SANDUSKY Party at the Pier: The Ark Band is performing as part of the concert series at Jackson Street Pier at 7 p.m. FRIDAY SANDUSKY Wine tastings: Vine and Olive on Milan Road (U.S. 250) will be hosting a wine tasting from 6:30-8 p.m. It costs $30 to attend and is only open to 24 people. To reserve a spot, call 419-502-4000. Lange Trust Summer Series - The Great DuBois: The first show in the summer series is at 4 p.m. and another is at 7:30 p.m. at Jackson Street Pier. SATURDAY KELLEYS ISLAND Make-a-Wish Golf Cart Poker Run: Registration for the event begins at 10 a.m. at Dockers Restaurant and costs $10 per hand. Attendees can choose to participate in a golf cart, car or bike, and the run will have seven stops across the island. The event will end at The Kelleys Island Wine Co. All proceeds will go towards benefiting Make a Wish. VERMILION All Washed Up - Vermilion Driftwood Contest: The contest starts at 10 a.m. and goes until 3 p.m. at Exchange Park in Downtown Vermilion. SUNDAY HURON Arts at the Amphitheatre - OSU Alumni Band: The Erie County OSU Alumni Band will perform at The Huron Boat Basin at 7 p.m. TUESDAY SANDUSKY Movies by the Bay: The weekly event will be taking place at Jackson Street Pier at 7 p.m. This week, "Cars" will be shown. Touch-A-Truck family event: The annual event is from 4-7 p.m. at Battery Park. The free event gives children the opportunity to explore different utility, emergency and sports vehicles. WEDNESDAY FREMONT Women's Suffrage Celebration and Verandah Concert: Celebrate the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage with a voter drive and other fun activities from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library and Museums. At 7 p.m., Matthew Bails will perform as part of the presidential library's Verandah concert series.
