Carol (Berardi) Hardy

HURON — Carol (Berardi) Hardy, 67, passed away peacefully at Stein Hospice on July 21, 2021, after a long illness. Carol was born in Sandusky, Ohio, on Dec. 5, 1953, to Albert and Roseanne (Muscolo) Berardi. Carol had a heart of gold. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Carol's greatest gift was her love for others, especially her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Carol will always be remembered for her beautiful voice and her love for singing to children. Carol is survived by her loving husband and caregiver, Tom Hardy; two sons, Jim (Jessie) Berardi and Tony (Alyssa) McGue; 10 grandchildren, Lexi, Libbi, Max, Jackson, Bella and Braxton Berardi and Evan, Amelia and Taylor McGue; stepdaughter, Rachel (Aaron) Williams; and granddaughter, Olivia. She is also survived by her siblings, Bob Berardi, Denise (Larry) Waaland, Joanne (Dave Finger) Berardi, Maria Berardi, Sue (Larry) Fawcett and Al (Darcy) Berardi. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Roseann Berardi; and sister, Lori Berardi. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of service, at 3:30 p.m., on Monday, July 26, 2021, at Foster Funeral Home & Crematory, 410 Main St., Huron.
