Hoty awarded $3.6M project

SANDUSKY — Sandusky-based Hoty Builders has been awarded a build-to-suit construction project by the U.S. General Services Administration. The project, which equals $3.6 million, totals about 9,000 square feet of office space in Rio Rico, Arizona. It's intended for the U.S. federal government in some capacity. "Once completed, the property will be managed by Hoty Enterprises," according to a company statement. "The building's sole tenant has signed a 20-year lease, and completion is scheduled for early 2022." Hoty Enterprises and its related companies own, manage and continue to develop a collection of office buildings leased to the federal government throughout the U.S., including in Ohio, Michigan, Colorado and the southwest. "All buildings were built and/or renovated by Hoty Builders," it read. Founded in 1978, Hoty Enterprises considers itself a "diversified real estate investment company that owns and/or manages more than 70 commercial real estate properties nationwide. Hoty Builders' experience encompasses a wide variety of construction projects, which include shopping centers, office buildings, marinas, luxury homes and residential developments. Hoty Builders is owned by Hoty Enterprises and Hoty family members.
