Walk through history in downtown Sandusky

SANDUSKY — Sandusky is typically known for its roller coasters, but it also has plenty of history.Join the Erie County Historical Society as it hosts a free walking tour of historic downtown Sandusky. This tour will take place at 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Participants can meet at the intersection of West Washington Row and Columbus Avenue, next to the Red Popcorn Wagon.Society board members will lead different legs of the tour. "We're hoping that people will share their memories and be interactive," board member Lou Schultz said.Schultz said there's a lot of history to learn.
