Funny Bus touring Cleveland

CLEVELAND — Funny Bus, a rolling comedy show touring Cleveland, is being launched this month in the city. Dean and Sarah Schnurr, Funny Bus Cleveland. Provided Dean Schnurr said the expansion here comes after more than five years of success in Charlotte, North Carolina, where his sister and brother-in-law founded the company. Funny Bus, a 34-passenger, open-air bus, will take guests through several parts of downtown Cleveland and through the cool and hip neighborhoods surrounding the city, including Ohio City, Tremont, and the Flats. Schnurr and his wife Sarah, who live in Huron, are the owners. Dean said it's more than a standard sightseeing tour. The most unique aspect of Funny Bus will be the hosts who are local comedians dedicated to interacting and entertaining guests. It's a "mix of humor, music, games and dancing ... a high-energy entertainment experience," he said. Guests also can bring their own beer and wine in sealed containers and small coolers are allowed, but they must fit under the seats or on a guest's lap.
