Report: Man slammed woman's head against truck

HURON TWP. — An Ohio man was arrested after he allegedly slammed a woman's head into a truck's tailgate repeatedly on Sunday.Joshua Lough, 27, of Tiltonsville, was charged with second-degree felony felonious assault and first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence.Erie County sheriff's deputies and a Huron Fire ambulance were called to Kalahari Resorts at 7:10 p.m. for a report of a woman who was "badly injured" in a domestic violence incident, according to a sheriff's report.Deputies found a woman bleeding from a gash on her forehead and swelling above her eye, the report states. Huron Fire took the woman to Firelands Regional Medical Center, where she later received stitches for the injury.Two witnesses told deputies they saw a man later identified as Lough "head-butt" a woman and then slammed her head against a truck bumper several times, according to the report.Deputies reviewed security video which allegedly showed the woman slap or hit Lough in the head, the report states. Video then allegedly showed Lough slamming the woman's head against the truck's bumper and tailgate.Deputies said Lough told them he and the woman were in a physical altercation inside the water park but allegedly admitted to hitting the woman's head against the truck, according to the report.Lough was taken to Firelands Regional Medical Center for a medical issue after being booked into the Erie County jail, Chief Deputy Jared Oliver said.
