SANDUSKY — Robert L. Dress, 43, of Sandusky, died Saturday, May 6, 2017, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.He was born Feb. 8, 1974, in Sandusky and was a graduate of Sandusky High School, where he studied carpentry.Robert was employed by Toys R Us in Sandusky.He loved to fish, spend time with family and friends, play card games and read his fantasy books.He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Kouts of Fremont; grandson, Kai; father, Terry Dress Sr. of Port Clinton; brothers, Richard Weidman of Bellevue, Ray Langdon of Amherst and Terry Dress Jr. of Sandusky; several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Dress, in 2008; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.There will be no visitation, and private family services will be held.Memorial contributions may be made to the family.Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, is handling the arrangements.Condolences and gifts of sympathy may be made to the family by visiting toftfh.com.
