SANDUSKY — In the bottom of the 10th inning, Grace Colavincenzo singled for SMCC to score the walk-off run in a 4-3 win over Lakota. She finished 2-for-5 on the day, the Panthers' only player with multiple hits. Allie Weilnau pitched all 10 innings for SMCC, striking out 21 batters in the victory while allowing only five hits across the 10 frames. After a walk loaded the bases and the inning's second out, Mariah Fields put the ball in play and everyone was safe for a walk-off win. Fields went 2-for-4 on the day with the game-winning contact. Dreschel led the Polar Bears with three hits. Jayla Caponi pitched 5.2 innings on her birthday before Fields pitched the final 1.1 innings to give herself the victory.
