Man threatens to kill mother

SANDUSKY — A Sandusky man allegedly threatened to kill his mother Wednesday evening after she tried to convince him to turn himself in.Zachary R. Zeller, 26, 1800 block Superior St., was arrested for domestic violence and a bench warrant.Shortly after 8 p.m., police responded to the 200 block of E. Shoreway Drive, where a woman told police she received a call from Zeller's friend's phone. She knew her son was at the friend's residence within the 2300 block of Cleveland Road.During the conversation, the woman noticed Zeller was upset she knew he had an active warrant. At one point, he threatened to kill her but sounded intoxicated, the report stated. Zeller was arrested for domestic violence in the past and threatened to stab her with a knife once.
