HURON -- Huron jumped out to a 25-0 lead after the first quarter and cruised to a 63-27 win over Edison in an SBC Bay Division boys basketball game Friday night. Jacob Lamb led the Tigers (10-6, 6-4 SBC Bay) with 14 points. Dylon Hohler added 10 and Tyler Adams and Cole Parker each had eight on Senior Night. Huron hosts Clear Fork in a Division III sectional final next Friday. Edison (0-20, 0-10) plays at Willard in a sectional opener on Wednesday. GIRLS BASKETBALL Upper Sandusky 63, Huron 60 UPPER SANDUSKY -- Upper Sandusky finished the game on a 10-0 run to turn back Huron 63-60 in a Division III sectional opener. The 12th-seeded Tigers got out to a fast start, leading 25-15 after one quarter. Huron scored 21 points in the third to take a 56-45 lead into the final period. The game turned into a 3-point shooting contest with Upper hitting 12 and Huron sinking 10. Kaidance Iles led 11th-seeded Upper with 20 points. Jessica Holsapple scored 15 points for the Tigers.
