Three indicted in February shooting at Sandusky billiards hall

SANDUSKY — A grand jury this month indicted three people on charges related to an early February shooting at a city billiards hall. Each defendant has previously been arrested on largely the same charges.The shooting occurred early on Feb. 5 at Even Breaks Billiards, 1319 Tiffin Ave. Bullets struck two employees, one in the leg and the other in the hand. Police at the time cast the shooting as the escalation of an argument the injured employees were trying to break up.Cassmir C. Lewis, 22, the suspected shooter, faces the most extensive set of charges, according to indictments handed down this month. These include new charges, like inducing panic, as well as additional counts of charges on which police arrested her in February.For example, Lewis now faces four counts of felonious assault, rather than two. The indictment indicates that she is charged under a two subsections of the same law in relation to each victim.Charges against Rafael Pool, 29, and Aonesty V. Jones, 22, each reflect an alleged role in disposing of the firearm after the shooting.
