Ernest Matijasic officiated at the 5:30 p.m. ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Hart of Sandusky. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Avila of Grimes, Iowa.Man of honor was Timothy R. Murray of New York. Attendants were Anna E. Gray of New York, Willam K. Hart of Burlington, Vermont, and James R. Hart III of Chicago.Best men were Peter Hadjis of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Brad Peterson of Seattle, Wash. Ushers were Brooke L. Avila of Des Moines, Iowa and John A. Gray of New York.A reception followed at The Union League of Chicago.The bride is a 2005 graduate of Sandusky High School, a 2009 graduate of The College of Charleston, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts, and a 2011 graduate of The University of Rochester, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is employed at St. Louis University Hospital Emergency Department.The groom is a 1999 graduate of Washington High School, a 2003 graduate of the University of Iowa, where he earned his Bachelor and Masters in Public Health, and a 2010 graduate of Kansas City University Medical Branch, where he earned his Doctorate of Osteopathy. He is a Physician and Assistant Medical Director at St. Mary's Hospital Emergency Department.The couple took a wedding trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands.They live in St. Louis.Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Avila
