Fisher-Titus welcomes cardiologist

NORWALK — Ryan Christofferson, MD, FACC, has joined Fisher-Titus Heart & Vascular as a cardiologist. He is board-certified in interventional cardiology. "We are pleased to welcome Dr. Ryan Christofferson to our Fisher-Titus family," said Dr. Brent Burkey, the medical center's president and CEO. "Dr. Christofferson brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from serving patients in nearby Elyria and Lorain," Burkey said. "His expertise is a great addition to our skilled team of heart and vascular physicians." Christofferson has experience as an interventional cardiologist with Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain, North Ohio Heart and University Hospital Elyria Medical Center. He also served as medical director of cardiology services and cardiac cath lab at Mercy Health Lorain. Christofferson earned his doctor of medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He went on to complete his residency in cardiology at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. He also completed fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic. Christofferson joins the Fisher-Titus heart and vascular team that includes interventional cardiologist Dr. Daniel Newton and vascular surgeons Dr. Mohamed Osman and Dr. Ayman Ahmed.
