SANDUSKY Sydney Cmar, of Bellevue, was named to Firelands Regional Medical Center's School of Nursing. A Firelands School of Nursing student who has taken at least six credit hours in a semester with a 3.5 GPA or higher for the semester qualifies for the honor roll. Sydney earned this GPA in an eight credit hour course, a huge accomplishment. ERIE COUNTY The Sandusky Elks Club recently selected these "Teens of the Month" from local high schools for the first semester of the 2020-21 school year. Embrace the challenge." Teachers submitted the names of students who demonstrated unique growth and grit during the first quarter of 2020. Students demonstrating admirable effort in unique ways, whether attending class in person or online are being recognized.
