Pizza Hut moves

SANDUSKY — Sandusky's Pizza Hut has moved locations, but it lost the dining-in option. The Pizza Hut on Milan Road (U.S. 250) near Red Lobster has closed with a sign indicating it moved to Perkins Avenue, within the Sandusky city limits. The new restaurant, across the street from Mathews Ford, opened last weekend. Tusing Builders renovated the building, which formerly had been the home of Diamond Savings & Loans, a Subway restaurant, and, most recently, a cash-for-car-title loan business. The original indication was that the new restaurant would be an additional location, but the other restaurant closed. The new restaurant only offers take-out, delivery and drive-thru. VEREIT, a Phoenix-based commercial property firm, owns the now-vacant former Pizza Hut building on the busy Milan Road strip. Pizza Hut representatives didn't return phone calls or emails from the Register.
