The Bellevue Hospital welcomes new vice president

BELLEVUE — The Bellevue Hospital named Sandusky resident Carrie Condon as its new vice president and chief financial officer (CFO). Condon takes the position left vacant by Timothy Buit's promotion to president and CEO following his predecessor's retirement. "Carrie will be a great asset to (the hospital) as we navigate the remainder of 2020 and beyond," Buit said. Condon, a Sandusky native, earned her bachelor's degree in business administration and master's degree in accountancy from Bowling Green State University. Condon has spent the last several years serving as the director of financial reporting for strategy and network development at a Florida-based nursing home. She has experience in value-based programs, information technology and auditing in both acute and post-care settings. "We are excited we found someone with a vast amount of experience in both the acute and post-acute settings," Buit said. As vice president of CFO of The Bellevue Hospital, Condon will work with the hospital's executive team to establish goals, strategies, growth plans and policies. She'll help guide the organizations' planning and implementation of financial and operational systems as health care reimbursement models change due to legislation, regulatory and marketplace reform. Her other vital duties include patient financial services, patient access, general accounting, budget and reimbursement, materials management, health information management and case management. Condon recently returned to Sandusky, and she enjoys helping animal welfare programs in her spare time.
