Behavioral health director appointed

SANDUSKY — Firelands Regional Medical Health System recently promoted Tracey Campbell to the director of its behavioral health division. Her duties include managing the operations of Firelands Counseling & Recovery outpatient locations in Erie, Huron, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, Wyandot and Lorain counties. "I'm honored to be given the opportunity to continue and expand my scope of service to the patients and staff of Firelands Counseling & Recovery Services," Campbell said. Campbell earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Bowling Green State University and a master's degree in community counseling from the University of Toledo. She brings 25 years experience to the newly created position and wants to expand the telehealth services at Firelands Counseling & Recovery during the pandemic. "This expansion allows us to extend our breadth of services to the community, especially to those who may lack transportation to one of our branches," Campbell said. "I feel optimistic that we can work together to overcome the challenges ahead while continuing to provide quality care." She will report directly to Firelands' chief medical officer Dr. Scott Campbell, no relation.
