Civista named top workplace

SANDUSKY — Civista Bank ranked among the best employers in the banking sector. American Banker and Best Companies Group named the Sandusky-based bank in "The Best Banks to Work For" list. American Banker selects banks based on employee satisfaction determined by a multi-step process. First, it evaluates a bank's policies, practices and demographics. Second, it surveys employee experiences and opinions of the bank. The combined scores determine if a bank makes the list. "One of the critical factors in a bank's success is how it treats its employees," said Alan Kline, the editor-in-chief of American Banker. "This year's list honors those institutions that have gone above and beyond to invest in employee's personal and professional growth." American Banker will publish the full results in its November issue.
