Sandusky native Seth Boggs, sport and recreation, Reagan Guthrie, Genoa, design engineering technology and Hannah Otto of Genoa, marketing, were named to Trine University's spring 2020 dean's list. BEREA Bellevue High School graduate Alex Seamon was inducted into Baldwin Wallace University's Epsilon of Ohio Chapter of Pi Gamma Mu (PGM) International Honor Society in Social Sciences in the spring 2020 semester. Seamon, who's studying psychology, shared the honor with 12 other students. Society membership is extended to students majoring or minoring in history, political science, sociology, anthropology, economics, international relations, criminal justice, social work, psychology, social philosophy, history of education or human geography. To qualify for induction, students must have an overall GPA of at least 3.3, a GPA of at least 3.3 in at least five courses in the social sciences and at least junior status in the upper 35 percent of the class. BEXLEY, Ohio Allison Kennedy of Marblehead, Kaitlyn Krueger of Huron, Timothy Lewis of Sandusky and Samuel Schooley of Kelleys Island were among almost 600 students to graduate from Capital University during the 2019-2020 year. The 170th commencement ceremony was postponed due to restrictions on large gatherings put in place because of the COVID-19 global pandemic. COLUMBUS Emma Bergman of Oak Harbor and Alexander Brill of Vermilion made Ohio Dominican University's spring semester 2020 dean's list. In order to make the dean's list, full-time undergraduate students must have achieved a 3.5 GPA or better after taking a minimum of 12 credit hours. Bergman also graduated with a bachelors degree in chemistry. She is among 225 students who earned their degree following the 2020 spring semester. HARROGATE, Tenn. Alex Wolfram of Murfreesboro, Ky., received a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) in Harrogate, Tenn., on May 9, 2020. Wolfram received his undergraduate degree from Ohio University. He'll continue his medical training as an anesthesiology resident at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Ky. He is the son of Tim and Karen Wolfram, and the husband of Rachel Wolfram of Huron, Ohio. PEORIA, Ill. Norwalk resident Colleen Miller, studying biology, is one of 2,600 students named to Bradley University's spring dean's list. To be eligible, a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale.
