Benjamin R. Widman

SANDUSKY — Benjamin R. Widman, 29, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly early Saturday afternoon, Oct. 12, 2019, in his home.Born Nov. 27, 1989, in Sandusky, he was the son of Ronald Bernard and Diane Marie (Laughlin) Widman. Ben was a graduate of Perkins High School. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family over the years.Ben is survived by his father, Ron of Sandusky; two sisters, Stephanie M. (Jon) Lawrence and Andrea L. McCune both of Sandusky; nephews, Joseph, Samuel, Mason; niece, Scarlett; paternal grandfather, Bernard Widman; and aunts, uncles and other relatives.He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Marie (Laughlin) Widman., Sept. 17, 2016; paternal grandmother, Sydelle (Stetzel) Widman; and maternal grandparents, William and Josephine (LaRose) Laughlin.Private family services will be held. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery Columbarium, Sandusky.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to ones favorite charity.Arrangements are entrusted to the David F.
