Man pleads guilty to felony assault, gets probation

SANDUSKY — A Sandusky man pleaded guilty to felonies stemming from a shooting and was sentenced to community sanctions last week.Clabe Taylor, 20, of Sloane Street, pleaded guilty in Erie County common pleas court Oct. 23 to two counts of aggravated assault — which are fourth-degree felonies. Those were reduced from Taylor's original two charges, two counts of felonious assault, which are second-degree felonies.The charges stem from a May 15 shooting at about 1 a.m in the 600 block of Decatur St., near Sandusky Digital Academy.
