Holiday Inn Express coming to Milan

MILAN TWP. — A new hotel is set to check into Milan Township.Kelsey Lodging LLC. ownership group plan to construct a new Holiday Inn Express & Suites in place of the recently demolished Super 8 hotel on Milan Road near the Ohio TurnpikeLake Erie Hospitality LLC. will manage the hotel for Kelsey Lodging under a license agreement with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), the parent company of the Holiday Inn Express brand.IHG, based out of England, is one of the world's largest hotel companies managing multiple brands in nearly 100 countries. It's Holiday Inn Express brand has more than 2,000 locations in the world as of September 2019."We look forward to partnering with IHG and providing future guests with unmatched comfort and hospitality that comes with staying at an IHG hotel," the Kelsey Lodging group said in a news release.Construction crews have already broke ground on building the four-story, 90-room hotel next to the Red Roof Inn. The hotel will use Holiday Inn Express's newest building design.
