Report: Car does donuts, woman arrested after alleged tantrum

CLYDE — Police arrested a Clyde woman Wednesday for allegedly doing donuts — driving quickly in small circles — in a parking lot and damaging a trash can at the police stationWhitney Pfeiffer, 26, was charged with disorderly conduct and vandalism. Jeremiah Brogan, 30, was also charged with disorderly conduct.Just before 3 a.m., police responded to East McPherson Highway for a call about a man and woman in an SUV doing donuts in a parking lot, according to a Clyde police report.When officers arrived they found Pfeiffer standing alone in the parking lot. She allegedly appeared to be intoxicated with slurred speech and was unsteady on her feet.She allegedly refused to say who drove her SUV. Officers asked if it was Brogan. When they found Brogan, he allegedly appeared to be intoxicated, too.As officers checked Pfeiffer for weapons, she allegedly made "sexual remarks" to them, the report states. They were both taken to the police station and placed in separate interview rooms. They were told to wait while they found someone to take responsibility for them.For more than two hours, Pfeiffer and Brogan allegedly acted in a manner "that could only be described as a child-like temper tantrum," according to the report. They were allegedly yelling, banging on the doors, slamming chairs and tables and being argumentative. Pfeiffer allegedly kicked the wall, door and trash smashing the side of the can and making it unsafe to use, the report states. Police then placed her under arrest. When they tried to take her to the Sandusky County jail she allegedly went limp and had to be carried to the police cruiser.She was taken to the hospital after claiming her handcuffs injured her. After medical staff cleared her she was taken to the jail. She has since been released.
