American Prestige Athletics fares well at Toledo invitational

Sandusky's American Prestige Athletics gymnastics competition teams competed at the Energy Gymnastics Invitational Nov. 10-11 at the Exceleration Gymnastics Center in Toledo.Coached by Jeffrey Singler and Isabella Porcari, the American Prestige gymnasts were broken into three categories: XCEL Bronze/Junior Olympic levels 2-3, XCEL Silver/JO levels 4-5 and XCEL Gold/JO levels 6-7.The XCEL Silver team of Madison Boraski, Breonna Ponting, Adyson Lepley and Alanna Porcari won first as a team.Individually, Boraski was first in the asymmetric bars and third in the all-around. Ponting was fourth on vault, third on asymmetric bars, fourth on balance beam and second on floor exercise and all-around.Lepley was fourth on vault, second on asymmetric bars, fourth on balance beam and floor exercise and third all-around. Porcari was first on vault, first on asymmetric bars, second on balance beam, and first on floor exercise and all-around.Competing in the XCEL Gold Division, Avery McIntyre was third on asymmetric bars, third on floor exercise and fourth all-around.The XCEL Silver team recently won first place at the Energy Gymnastics Invitational in Toledo.
