BELLEVUE — Curtis James Jason Gibbs, 44, of Bellevue, died unexpectedly Sunday evening, July 29, 2018.He was born Jan. 17, 1974, in Sandusky, and attended Bellevue High School. He was a member of the Assembly of God, Bellevue.Curtis is survived by his parents, Roy and Kathryn (Teasley) Gibbs; son, Curtis J.J. Gibbs; two daughters, Emily Ann Gibbs and Cassandra Lynn Gibbs; granddaughter, Isabella Ann Gibbs; two sisters, Rochell Gibbs and Chandra Hammons; two brothers, Everett Joshua Lee Lawson and Richard McClanahan; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.Curtis was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Cecil and Hazel Clem; and paternal grandparents, Roy and Lucy Gibbs.Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018, and from 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, until services at noon, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. The Rev. John Ginty will officiate.
