Jan Koonce

SANDUSKY — Jan Koonce, 57, of Sandusky, was called home Sunday, July 8, 2018, at her home in Buffalo, N.Y.She was born in Sandusky Jan. 27, 1961.Jan is survived by her children, daughter, Janel Koonce of Buffalo, and son, Demetrius Koonce of Sandusky; brothers, Paul D. Koonce and Albert R. Koonce both of Fort Collins, Colo., Richard S. Koonce of Sandusky, Edward "Bee" Bryant of El Paso, Texas; sister, Paula (Koonce) Pea of Sandusky; six grandchildren, most of whom live in Buffalo, and two in Sandusky.She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Koonce; mother, Claudie Ella Koonce; maternal grandparents, Richard and Mary John Hoy; paternal grandparents, Rufus and Dora Koonce; brothers, Donovan and Donald Bryant; sisters, Donna C. (Bryant) Kelly and Mary "Maggie" Bryant.There will be no visitation. Family and friends held private memorials for Jan in Buffalo, N.Y., and at her parents' home in Sandusky.
