Firelands Chorus presents Jukebox Hits

Whether you're a cool cat, hip chick or greaser, the place to hear your favorite tunes from the '50s and '60s this spring will be the Firelands Chorus concerts Friday May 1 and Saturday May 2.Among the selections will be "At The Hop," "Sea Cruise" and "Rock Around The Clock.""This is all music that our audience will be familiar with, and that will bring back great memories," says Firelands Chorus Director Jeffrey Kearney. "We hope people will tap their feet, clap along and even sing along, if the spirit moves them."For the first time in more than a decade, chorus members will be dressing in costumes themed to the concerts. They've been searching for poodle skirts, pink jackets, loafers and saddle shoes to complement the theme. You can see what the chorus came up with and listen to some great rock 'n roll oldies May 1 at 7:30 p.m. and May 2 at 2:30 p.m. "Jukebox Hits of the '50s and '60s" will be presented at Zion Lutheran Church in Sandusky, at 503 Columbus Avenue.
