UPDATED: Man identified in Clyde gazebo death

UPDATE: Clyde police released the followingName of deceased: Brian A. Garcia Age 31400 block of Hill Street Clyde, Ohio Formerly of Fremont, Ohio Subject died as the result of a single gunshot wound to the head, no notes were located at the scene but a weapon was recovered at the location. At this time it is not believed that foul play is involved and the shot was self inflected. The investigation will continue and Clyde Police await the results of an autopsy at the Lucas County Coroner's Office where the body was transported as directed by Sandusky County Coroner Dr. John Wukie. Clyde Police were assisted by Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation crime scene unit, Sandusky County E.M.S., Sandusky County Coroner, Fremont Police and the Clyde Fire Department. Check back for updates PREVIOUS STORY: A man's body was found in a Clyde gazebo on Sunday afternoon, and police are now investigating his death.A Fremont man was biking a trail through Clyde on Sunday afternoon when, at 12:05 p.m., he came upon a man's body in a city-owned gazebo in the 100 block of W. Maple St., according to Clyde police.The biker called authorities, and police and Sandusky County paramedics soon responded. The officials then determined the man was deceased. Sandusky County Coroner John Wukie was subsequently contacted and he "ordered the body to the Lucas County Coroner's Office for an autopsy," a Clyde police press release stated.The deceased man appeared to be about 30 years old, and had a single gunshot wound to the head.Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation agents were also called to the scene to investigate."Clyde police are still looking for next of kin so (his) name will not be released until that has been done," the release stated.The case remains under investigation, and more details should be forthcoming.
