NEW YORK — The porn stars are angry.Rudy Giuliani oozes double standard, adult film actress Alana Evans said Thursday, blasting the former New York mayor as a "hypocrite" for claiming Stormy Daniels can't be trusted because of her profession.Evans said she was outraged when Giuliani on Wednesday claimed Daniels' job makes her ineligible to "credibility of any weight.""It's an insult to every sex worker, every adult film star, every woman who has ever gotten naked for a paycheck," Evans told the New York Daily News.Evans, a friend and vocal supporter of Daniels, pointed out the irony in Giuliani playing the purity card when Trump himself has appeared in three softcore Playboy videos with partially clothed women."As to be expected, when it's a man doing said acts, it's far more acceptable than when it's a woman," Evans, 41, said. "When you're a man, you're regarded for it, you're treated as a stud, but when you're a woman you're treated as if you're a whore."Evans also said Giuliani is either clueless or simply ignores Melania Trump's moderately successful modeling career, which included posing naked with other women."His comments about Stormy are also an insult to Melania," Evans said. "Her husband's lawyer is humiliating her."Giuliani, who serves as Trump's attorney and unofficial spokesman, pushed back against Evans' criticism, telling The News there's a "big difference" between appearing in Playboy videos or posing nude for magazine shoots and being a "self-proclaimed porn star."The 74-year-old ex-mayor, who's in Israel for a business conference, justified his going after Daniels' credibility because he claimed she's a "proven liar" and does "anything for money.""It's a profession in which you would be willing to do things which many other people wouldn't be willing to do to get money," Giuliani said. "Up until this case, if you said that being in the profession of pornography is unreliable, they'd agree and now all of a sudden they're switching."They're being sexist, I'm not," Giuliani added.Evans pointed out another recent case in which she said Giuliani's hypocrisy was on full display."The very day Rudy is making these absurd comments and slut-shamming (Daniels) is the same day that Alice Marie Johnson is having her sentence commuted by Trump thanks to negotiations by a porn star," Evans said, referring to reality star Kim Kardashian, who became a national celebrity after her sex tape was leaked.Giuliani's forceful rebuke of Daniels, 39, came after the X-rated actress filed a fresh lawsuit charging that Trump's longtime fixer Michael Cohen and her former lawyer, Keith Davidson, "colluded" to keep her from going public about allegedly having sex with Trump in 2006.Beyond attacking Daniels, Giuliani went out on a limb and claimed the first lady believes her husband when he says he never had sex with the adult actress.The first lady's spokeswoman poked holes in Giuliani's claim Thursday, saying she doesn't believe "Mrs. Trump has ever discussed her thoughts on anything with Mr. Giuliani."Asked about the spokeswoman's statement, Giuliani conceded he was only making a "speculation."On a separate note, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also distanced the Trump administration from Giuliani on Thursday over his comments that Kim Jong Un "got on his hands and knees and begged for" a summit with the president."Rudy doesn't speak for the administration when it comes to this negotiation," Pompeo told reporters.Daniel's attorney, Michael Avenatti, called on Trump to fire Giuliani in light of his "misogynist" remarks. Trump has given no indication that will happen.Evans, who first made headlines after she revealed she was at the Lake Tahoe hotel where Daniels says she had sex with Trump in July 2006, argued Giuliani's attack on Daniels is indicative of the way women are disbelieved in general."As a sex worker, this is something we deal with every single day," Evans said.
