Local candle producer back with a 'Vengeance'

The programs will train students for tomorrow's workforce.Another local company making waves is Northern Exposure Candle Co., a Port Clinton shop owned by Billy and Kelly Rigoni. The couple has turned its little storefront into a bustling business by creating custom candles for a variety of local businesses to capture the essence of visiting the region.In 2016, the Rigoni team expanded their reach when they partnered with Cedar Point to offer guests a unique opportunity to take home amusement park themed candles.Some guests like the idea of taking home the unique smells for Hotel Breakers, Castaway Bay, and Lighthouse Point in signature candles.Returning coaster candle favorites include GateKeeper, Millennium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, Valravn and Maverick, all custom created using 100 percent soy-based wax and made in Ohio.As Northern Exposure Candle Co. has continued to evolve, its hard work has earned the company the 2018 Partner of the Year Award from the state of Ohio & Lake Erie Shores & Islands.
